The location was great. Being on the 21st floor was amazing.

− It was like meeting someone from online dating. The pictures do not match at all. The advertisement showed huge spacious flooring. It was the feeling of a college dorm room. Old worn out appliances. The bedroom tv doesn’t even connect to the WiFi. The paint is heavily overdue for a repaint all over the apartment. Never could get the dishwasher to work. The ice machine continuously leaked to the floor. The pullout couch is extremely uncomfortable and worn. This place needs a huge repair to its walls, furniture, and appliances. For over $300 a night I am extremely disappointed because I saw WAY better units for less. Advertise your pictures CORRECTLY!!

− That it was located in Tidewater. That is was terribly run down. The linens could have been whiter. The rusting metal in the bathrooms could have been painted. Everything just needs attention and updating. The appearance is uncared for.

Bella vista, ma gestione discutibile

L’appartamento ha una vista magnifica sulla spiaggia e sull’oceano e una loggia piacevole in cui rilassarsi.

− Lo stabile in cui è inserito è un po’ datato e ci sono elementi che andrebbero modernizzati come la porta di ingresso all’appartamento. Il problema principale per noi è stata la comunicazione con il proprietario. Ho prenotato l’appartamento su Booking molto in anticipo e contestualmente ho chiesto un paio di domande a cui non ho mai ricevuto risposta (non hanno risposto né a me né a Booking). Ad una settimana dall’arrivo ho chiesto conferma della prenotazione (avevo paura che fosse una prenotazione fantasma) e mi è stato finalmente risposto che era confermata e che mi avrebbero mandato le info di check-in due giorni prima del mio arrivo. Il giorno prima alle 5pm non avevo ancora ricevuto nulla quindi ho scritto io per sollecitare. Mi sono state mandate le info di check in e con mia sorpresa non solo scopro che c’è una resort fee obbligatoria da pagare di 40/50$ (non comunicata in maniera trasparente nella descrizione di Booking al momento delle prenotazione) ma anche che avrei dovuto pagare 10$ di penalty per il late check-in (cioè meno di 24 ore) - peccato che il proprietario mi abbia mandato le info per la registrazione del check in meno di 24 ore prima. Ho quindi chiesto il rimborso di almeno questa parte di penalità al proprietario visto che non dipendeva da me, mi è stato risposto “ti mando un PayPal” ma non è mai arrivato niente e le mie sollecitazioni non hanno ottenuto risposta. Quindi bella vista sul mare nell’appartamento ma gestione da parte del proprietario molto migliorabile.

Location, easy drive from airport, great deck, great beach, nice to have the amenities and a restaurant.

− Just minor things. Freezer was open when I got there and water was on the floor and inside the lower freezer bin. Had to always jiggle the toilet handle or it would keep running Garbage disposal didn’t work Too close to the elevator. A lot of noise Needs a new couch
