Leaving the hole after 45 minutes!!! Best decision of the night

− I lasted 45 mins in this property and then had to leave as I could stay here!!!! I didn’t like the look of a crack den on arrival looked dirty and over run. When getting keys I entered the dirty communal lobby, it’s was dingey and in need of clean, looks like a social housing block to be honest. I went Up the small stairs then you arrival at the dirty front door, already feeling I would of feel safer staying on the Gaza Strip!! I turn up to a filthy front door would have thought it was a car mechanical garage door hand prints everywhere door handle dirty and this persisted throughout the property on all paint work I understand where and tear but this was just pure dirty on all paint work cleaner not doing proper. I was also hit by a stale smell of fried food when entering I had to spray deodorant around property and open windows. Upon opening the rear window of the property I opened the blinds to what I can say was just pure filth loads of discarded rubbish! An empty boxes maybe from other residents in block but it’s disgusting definitely inviting for rodents as behind a shopping centre that also the view beside the rubbish. The flat not apartment that it is listed as it’s in a block it’s in and old covert Victorian house that’s been over filled with flats and more than likely people!!! . The property on 1st glance was reasonable tidy a very basic, kitchen cupboards also yellow discoloured. Listen I was expecting the riztz but to lay on a bed of springs which the bed in this place is and smell of other people was the final nail in the coffin. When I messaged host they couldn’t offer me a refund as the towels had been moved off the bed and place on the Chester drawers and then place back there cost me 71 quid they also said we have received complaints before but as it’s a family business they don’t giverefunds . Photos of paint work on here judge it for yourself do feel slightly annoyed that this false advertisement!! Surprise even allowed to advertise on website!

Dirty bedding

Dirty bedding and when I contacted booking.com I was basically told I could have £11 back from a £60 booking. Ended up booking somewhere different

Clean and cheap and central. Key box entry convenient. Well equipped kitchen.

− Location central but not nice. No staff. Needs a new firmer mattress.

I liked the location as it was within walking distance of everything in town. The apartment was laid out well and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again when I'm home next.

− Apart from the No TV. Only 1 lock on the door, doesn't feel safe inside at night.
