The photos of this place don’t do it justice. It was,PERFECTION. I love cooking and the kitchen was set up with everything you need. The pool was sparkly clean. Cool tree shaped out door shower. The backyard is huge with. Big old beautiful tree. Large table outside the kitchen for al fresco dining. The house has sooo much history a lot which is there through photos on the wall and She’ll messaged me about the restoration work the did on this 100 year old home. I could have easily stayed here longer. It was the last place our group stayed and we were all blown away. The young fella Hasintha runs the place and checked in on us every day to see if we needed anything. One night we asked him to stay and chat with us so that was a really fun night, for us anyway. Charming young man with a good heart and a great laugh. Him and my husband spent time talking about cricket and on the day we were leaving he dropped in with a gift for my husband. Two Sri Lankan national cricket team shirts! He was so thoughtful and my husband was sooooo stoked! I didn’t get many photos of the place myself but if I find the ones my friends took I’ll upload them. A video,walk through would be great too. But do yourself a favour and book a stay at this piece of paradise! You will NOT regret it!!

Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! This 100 year old place was so stunning. We are visiting from Australia and had the most relaxing, peaceful time here. The manager Sahan is so lovely and goes out of his way to help you wherever he can!

Paradise perfect with all modern facilities and great host

This place…it is magical. For us it’s the closest to perfection we have ever been. This place has it all, beautiful pool in an even more beautiful garden. Good beds with good mosquito nets. You can see that the house is restored with a lot of passion. The woodcarvings are beautiful, but also modern facilities are within reach. 2 Bathrooms, one of them even accomodates an outside shower with a small pond, beautiful view and hotwater. A lot of places where you can sit and relax, inside the house, aswell as in the garden. Waking up with monkeys around the house makes the picture perfect. Really, there is too much to say about this beautiful place. Sahan was our host. The house was very clean when we arrived. Sahan is available for whatever you need and really helps us out with anything we need. Our drone was damaged, Sahan made a lot of effort to help us out in trying to get the drone repaired, with succes! Thank you for this awesome stay! We have seen a lot of places, but this one has a special place in our memories!
