Perfekter Aufenthalt in Tortuguero
10.0Die Unterkunft liegt etwas versteckt im mittleren Teil von Tortguero. Man erreicht Fußläufig alles sehr schnell. Für die Anreise wurden vorab Kontaktdaten geschickt und wir wurden am Hafen in Tortuguero empfangen. Die Unterkunft selber war sehr sauber. Der Wohn- und Essbereich ist offen, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Die Küche war mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Es gab kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee, eine Mikrowelle, einen Elektroherd und ein paar Früchte zur Begrüßung. Das Schlafzimmer ist mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet.

8.0Christian and his mom were wonderful. As were their two pups who were so gentle and friendly. The Unit on the second level (steep stairs) was well appointed and comfortable, and I loved the hammock chair to sit in, read my book and watch the birds. Felt like I was sitting in the canopy with them. Having someone meet us at the dock and escort us to our accommodations was a very nice touch.
− I have nothing negative to say about our accommodations, but we did find the town very touristy, which is not what we were looking for. We went with the expectation of hanging out on the beach and swimming in the Caribbean Sea, however the sea was very rough and we were told that even the locals do not swim in the sea. We could not swim in the river either as there were crocodiles. Be sure to bring solid walking shoes as this is a place for hiking, not conducive to the mobility impaired.
