− De prijs, was niet in verhouding met de kwaliteit. Eigenlijk een restaurant met daarboven 6 kamers. Kamers leuk maar wel aan een opfrisbeurt toe, voor die prijs mag het wel wat luxer. Hotel moeilijk toegankelijk voor mensen die wat slechter te been zijn (steil en oneffen pad naar beneden). Restaurant prachtig maar prijzig, €230,- afgerekend voor 2 personen. Hotel ligt in Porto Rafael, 2 km van Palau, auto is wel aan te raden want laatste bus gaat om 18.40uur.

Disappointing as this was our most expensive stay in our 2 weeks in Italy

Great setting

− The air conditioning broke down on our first night. The staff did nothing about it until we made a fuss after a second night of no sleep. The manager then purchased a portable air conditioning unit - which worked ok on the third night but was very noisy. In the end we negotiated that they paid for 2 meals that we had in the restaurant as compensation. The biggest issue was the poor communication. I think if we had not made a fuss they would not have done anything to rectify the situation. They also continued to rent out the rooms but didn’t inform the incoming guests that the air conditioning was not working.

It is nice, but it is rather the restaurant with few rooms upstairs. There is not much to see or to do beside cute plaza with few small shops and little beach in the front. Be careful when ordering dishes which are not in the menu, ask for pice upfront.
