8.0We had a nice stay at Surfside if somewhat a bit remote ,food was very good and plentiful as all the places in Sri Lanka we stayed at,the difference being they were considerably more expensive I would recommend a comprehensive menu with prices for guests to avoid any surprises when presented with final bill and also check room prices quoted from Booking.com correspond with owners final bill

10.0Best place I've ever stayed in Sri Lanka. Gorgeous modern accomodation nestled in the country side surrounded by nature, yet also a 10 minute drive from Hiriketiya. Balcony, kitchen, hot shower. Owners are amazing and the best host we've had. Appartment is very private. Sending lots of love to Sunil and Family.
A Magical Stay at Surfside Paddy Villa
10.0Our stay at the Surfside Paddy Villa was nothing short of perfect. This place is truly magical, nestled between lush paddy fields and the jungle. Far from the noise of traffic we could watch the monkeys in the trees and listened to the many birds. Dickwella and Hiriketiya Beach are just a few minutes away by scooter or by Tuk Tuk of our lovely host, Sunil. In the mornings we practiced yoga on the rooftop, which was an unforgettable experience. What truly sets Surfside Paddy Villa apart, however, is the warmth and hospitality of Sunil and his family. Sunil went above and beyond to make our stay special—helping us organize a scooter, sourcing the freshest catch of the day, and always being available with a smile. His wife, Kumuduni, treated us to the most delicious homemade breakfasts and dinners, and their son even made us one of the best Neapolitan pizzas we’ve ever had. We are deeply grateful for our time at this beautiful place. Highly recommended!
