Overall a good place because the staff is pleasant and helpful
9.0Everything's fine, the staff is very kind, helpful and accommodating. Good bathroom.
− The room is cluttered, and there's no need for a TV taking up space. Same goes for the refrigerator, which wastes electricity, too.
Not what you get.
7.0The street is quiet and has a great sort of colonial feel, which was lovely. its close to shops and the beach. Some staff members were lovely.
− The building in this photo is NOT Thipurai Annex - its about 5 buildings back from this picture. Several hotels guests seem to share the pool. I didn't get any information on its use. My room was small andcrowded with too much furniture, so not much usable space. My balcony faced two walls, aircons and extractor fans, so hot and unpleasant. Some staff members were very unpleasant.

10.0Fabulous location. Staff is very welcoming. Very nice accommodation. Comfortable bed for a Canadian. Shopping mall a few steps away. Beach is moments away. .
