− It was too cold. Maximum achieved by the air source heat pump was 19 degrees (we bought a thermometer). The cottage was COLD with no heating on arrival and the heating (warm ish radiators) didn’t fire up until 6:30. There were logs for one fire but no matches - inconvenient on arrival. The upstairs bathroom is not private as the door has clear glass in.
