− Very dated furniture, had to brush teeth in the laundry sink…..only other option was the kitchen sink or 30cm away from the toilet in a 10cm basin.

The location is nice.

− Paid $719 for 2 nights via Booking.com. Definitely not worth this. The property was not very clean, especially the linen. 2 x beds are provided, the mattress in the front room was extremely uncomfortable and cheap (no topper), we had to swap to the other mattress. There are trip hazards into the toilet and bathroom. No hazard tape or similar has been added to warn guests. There is no air conditioning, even in mid April with fans on it was too hot, summer could be very uncomfortable. There is no outdoor seating. A person residing above can be heard very clearly (footsteps/TV). The agent sent an unnecessary number of (often duplicate) messages from different numbers/means. Only one, nearly empty hand soap pump provided in the kitchenette. No soap provided in the toilet/bathroom. Not sure if there is designated parking for this property as a vehicle being used was parked in the driveway.

The location was honestly the only thing good about this property, not that we got to enjoy it.

− We left the property and sought alternative accomodation. - Considered sleeping in the car/ going home had we not found alternative accomodation. The property was musty despite the scent of vanilla kitchen spray everywhere and we did not realise the upstairs residents also had full access to the laundry whilst we were occupying the downstairs. (no lock to lock the internal laundry door). The other residents had guests over and we could see/hear everything through the ceiling and through the adjoining foyer door. Ceiling also shows evidence of water damage. The bed in the front room was unbelievably rock hard and both wardrobes smelt of moth balls despite the car air freshener in one of the wardrobes. Did not realise the bathroom had no vanity or storage. The furniture in the lounge room was old, felt disgusting and made our skin crawl/feel itchy. There was also what appeared to be bird or lizard faeces on the lounges. This was not ideal with a toddler that wanted to climb and touch everything. We did not feel comfortable in this property and being there made us feel dirty. The other residents/owners also filled both bins yet we were expected to take them out to the curb for Monday Morning pickup despite the fact that we left and didn't stay at all. We messaged the agent the night we left and have since been advised we should have called the emergency line. We have responded that we do not believe this issues could have been rectified in an afternoon nor should a refund be withheld due to us not calling the emergency line.
