Good value for money and location for short stay.
8.0It’s a quirky little place well located with great view.
− Very creaky floor upstairs which makes it difficult if children trying to sleep downstairs. Decor could do with a refresh but it’s perfectly pleasant.
Classy, comfortable apartment out of the busy tourist spots
9.0It was even nicer than the photos showed. Windemere and Ambleside were far more built-up than we'd expected so being at the Newby Bridge location, with a lovely view across fields, and being away from the very touristy towns, was a relief. Beds were very comfortable and the whole building was very warm, spotlessly clean and cosy. Great for a family holiday with our two young adult daughters. Two toilets were a handy bonus too!
− It was quite a long drive to get to the more remote lakes like Buttermere. Just a couple more small conveniences like a clothes drying rack, kitchen tongs and an extra tea towel would have been great.
