8.0The location is in the remote town of La Barra, in February only accessible by motorbike-taxi. The locals were welcoming and hospitable. The beaches were extensive and barely a person on them. So close to the jungle national park.
− Booking.com mixed up the pictures making it appear like there was a communal kitchen and provided water with every cabana; we arrived to descover this was not the case. Given the misunderstanding, the staff went beyond to extend their helpfulness and accommodating the misunderstanding and our specific needs.

− The owner of the coco house tried to rip us off! We were supposed to pay the rest of the bill + costs for motorcycles needed to get to the harbour of playa la barra by using PayPal. When we arrived at the harbour the motorcycle driver demanded the payment before we leave. We had Internet connection problem. We talked on the phone with the owner of cocohouse and arranged a cash payment to the motorcycle driver. We paid him cash. The owner accused us of leaving without paying and tried to make us pay again!

9.0nicely styled huts. Basic, but equipped with all you need. Staff is friendly and very helpful to arrange transport and tours. Hammock is great.
