Stunning historic villa with amazing views

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful lakeside apartment. The villa itself is stunning and full of character, and it was fascinating to stay in the historic villa where the ending of the James Bond film Casino Royale was filmed. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with beautiful views over Lake Como. The location was peaceful yet convenient for exploring the lake, and the host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend it and would love to return.

This villa was so beautiful. The setting on the lake is picture perfect. Our apartment was nicely decorated by the owner and very comfortable.

− This stay was the highlight of our Italy trip. It was all good. From here, you do need a car as it's not in town.

Ein wirklich exklusiver Standort in einer historischen Villa direkt am See. Ursprüngliche Villa wurde umgebaut, es entstanden 22 Wohnungen, einige werden zeitweise vermietet. Lorella, die Vermieterin war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Kommunikation erfolgte teils über Booking.com, teils über WhatsApp. Positiv +++ Ein sehr grosses Gelände, welches nur für die Mieter zugänglich ist. Standort direkt am See, einmalige Umgebung mit tollem Garten (Rasen darf nicht betreten werden) und einem eigenen Privatstrand. Viele kleine Sitzplätze im ganzen Garten verteilt. + Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten ++ Ruhig - es ist kaum jemand anzutreffen, + Küche voll ausgestattet Neutral Nur mit Auto wirklich sinnvoll, Parkplatz direkt am Zaun vorhanden Fussläufig zu einem Restaurant ist schwierig, Ausflüge zu Fuss ab der Unterkunft sicher machbar, aber umständlich Für mich eher harte Matratze.

− Negativ: -- Kein Balkon -- Fehlende Klimaanlage - kann im Sommer sehr heiss werden, beim schlafen mit offenem Fenster Strassenlärm, zudem ist mit wenigen aber vorhandenen Moskitos zu rechnen (Moskitoschutz mitnehmen)

The perfect place to relax and recharge!

The location and the actual property is amazing! Boats will come by so tourists can have a look at this incredibly striking villa that now contains 22 apartments. The views are spectacular and the apartment very comfortable with everything you’ll need. A short walk to Menaggio and a shorter walk to a smaller town just north makes it a convenient spot to get what you need and get wherever you would like on the lake. What a find!
