The house was very spacious and had some nice rooms. It was very close to Boston.

− Could use some more color and could use some more rennovations, specially with the stairs and there were a couple of holes in the walls.

lots of bedrooms, close to Trader Joes and HBS

− DISUSTING- NOT CLEAN- GIANT HAIRBALL on bedroom wall (with moldlooking stuff), no bathroom or kitchen soap, broken shower head sprayed all over, missing mattress. THREATENED - First day of stay, received request for 5-star review & any concerns we had. Told them the issues.  Maintenance manager requested pictures. Sent them & told us not to try to fix broken shower and they would fix. Asked for partial refund due to issues- they said no- told us we could do late checkout instead of refund. We said yes to late checkout, but said we couldnt anymore. Checked and house was still available to book which means they lied to us about another guest coming. I asked why they would lie about this and they wouldn't give an answer. I asked for a partial refund since we couldn't late checkout anymore. Told me that manager would call to discuss the refund. Never got a call. NIGHTMARE BEGINS- maintenance manager called to tell me they cleaned the house and brough mattress- I asked when I would hear from the manager about the refund. He told me he was the manager. I asked him about the refund and he said he wasn't the manager. Asked for the property manager and he told me he was the manager. He kept giving me the runaround and lying to me. Wouldnt let me talk to property manager. I told him I needed to speak to manager. He got super upset at me for asking- told me we were being kicked out & our reservation for last 2 nights was cancelled for breaking the shower. He told me he was calling police if we didn't leave. Spent 2 hours on phone trying to resolve with Booking.com. Booking.com told me he can't kick us out and would be safe to stay, but wasted tons of time on vacation to deal with THREATS. Super frustrating that our feedback of broken shower and dirty house would cause him to threaten the police called on us and kick us out . Very poor customer service and treatment. Stay away. Don't waste your time.

House was huge , lots of space , 7 big bedrooms. Pleasant neighbourhood

Everything was very nice. Beautiful house with very quick respond from owner when We want something.

− One of the beds appeared to have been slept in without having the sheets changed as sheets were crumpled with hair. No covers on the duvets on the beds. Thermostat was locked on arrival and was unable to be fixed for 24hrs so our first evening was very cold. Sparsely furnished, would benefit from further decoration to feel more 'homely '.
