Lovely break
9.0The cottage is in a very quiet place with a lovely beach very close. The cottage provided everything you would need which was a nice touch. Although we didn't light the log burner, I would imagine it would be very cosy on a damp, dreary day.
− Mattresses were quite hard and made my back and hips ache but that is more of a personal thing than a criticism.

5.0Het prachtige uitzicht op de Boom beach waar veel historie ligt vanuit de 2e WO. Het huis was modern en netjes. Prima bedden en een goede oprit waar de auto kon staan. Ook veel mogelijkheden voor leuke uitstapjes en wandeltochten.
− De communicatie met de host verliep erg vervelend. Achteraf werden we geconfronteerd met schade die wij niet gemaakt hadden. Ook werd aan ons gevraagd een eindschoonmaak te doen terwijl dit niet met de host was afgesproken vooraf. Een normaal gesprek hierover was niet mogelijk.

9.0Huis van alle gemakken voorzien, veel ruimte. Prachtig uitzicht.
Excellent location, requires some driving for fully enjoying northwestern highlands.
9.0A beautiful location with a couple of good hikes. Excellent shop providing all essentials in neighbouring village. Owners were very responsive and reacted quickly to fix issues (associated with defect toaster).
− No pubs in walking distance and only one bar and restaurant within 5 miles. For highland walks, one needs to drive one hour and more.
