Lovely little space in Hackney
9.0Room was very comfortable and clean with natural light. Beds were the most comfy I've had in a while. The location was perfect, situated very close to my family gathering and near some lovely local spots. Easy check-in process.
− Dirty dishes in the sink and the kitchen, which is the fault of the patrons not the staff, but perhaps there should be some "encouraging" signage about that. Also trash all over the floor outside from the garbage bins, perhaps they could be cable tied?

− I had to cancel my stay at HGR and, even more alarmingly, my creative work in London due to HGR's unreasonableness, lack of empathy and the organisation acting in a wholly contradictory manner to its stated protocol ; its demand on the day for PRE-arrival ID confirmation needs significant investigation. Despite my many requests, HGR was not prepared to honour its error of judgement and process by repaying the cost of my intended stay, or indeed offering some form of compensation. Most alarming.
