The location and view was exceptional. Great open plan living and kitchen area - a warm and inviting communal space. Spacious bedrooms. Huge amount of books, dvds, games for entertainment.

− The general cleanliness was disappointing. Lots of dust on floors and furniture in the living areas. The oven needed a good clean. The shared bathroom had scum rings in the sink and the toilet brush was very dirty, The fireplace had not been cleaned out and whilst when speaking with the owner on arrival regarding heating we were informed we could use the fire however there was no kindling or firewood provided, instead we were told we could drive to the nearby service station to purchase. Additionally, communication was not so great. I messaged to ask for the key code to access the house keys on the morning of arrival. The message was not responded to. I rang the number provided on booking.com on arrival but the call went straight to voicemail. Luckily the owner had called me the day before on a different number so I was able to go back through my phone and contact him so we could gain access to the house. It was a lot of messing around on arrival, late in the afternoon after driving.

Big and lovely house. Comfortable beds abs a beautiful view. Great comms from the owner and a lovely cellar door right at the end of the drive

− Some small things need fixing such as the tap in the kitchen. But was great

Relaxed stay in Southern Highlands

The house was clean and tiday and is on a lovely property with views of the vineyard. Very quiet and relaxing and had some kangaroos in the morning.

− The property didn't supply any firewood for the fireplace. We went to the Service station to get some and they keep it out in the rain. So not ideal to promote a fireplace and not provide wood. House needs a little TLC as some door handles missing.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The quietness and space inside and out. The house was warm and comfortable. The cellar door at the end of the driveway was a bonus.
