A splendidly appointed self contained apartment, a very comfortable stay for two. Represented perfectly with photos supplied when you book. It is clear the proprietor has spared no expense fitting the unit out whilst maintaining a boutique Italian feel that respects the design of this gorgeous building. All appliances, laundry and furnishings are either new or in perfect condition. Every detail covered with the provisions to cook, clean and launder. The newly installed high grade double glazed windows provide excellent protection from the elements and the noise from the very busy street below. Excellent air flow and a cool environment within, I had no need of the provisioned AC on each floor of the unit. The bed linens and quality of mattress are superior to even some well known hoteliers, this is usually the most critical element. The cleaning staff did an excellent job of presenting the unit like a hotel. For those staying up to a week, you receive a complimentary cleaning service. The top floor apartment is thankfully accessible via elevator, sometimes a luxury in Italian buildings. Location wise, it is perfect, right on the Arno and mere blocks away from all principle attractions. Cristina and her staff were very attentive, easy to reach and checked in to ensure comfort. Congratulations Cristina on supplying a high grade accommodation. Lovely.

− Mind the lift capacity on arrival, only one person with luggage or two with none. If the water suddenly cuts out, be patient, it comes back on in minutes. This only happened once.

We wanted to stay longer!

The location and unit were great. Walking distance to train station and center of town. Very quiet at night. Comfortable beds. Nice shower.

− There was construction (remodeling of other units) while we were there so we couldn’t nap during the day. It was a minor inconvenience.

The apartment was very well set up for visitors . Lots of thoughtful additions , choc-chip cookies , coffee, tea, prosecco washing powder, and fluffy dressing gowns. It was in a fantastic location for visiting all the sights in Florence . It also had an elevator which was great as the apartment is on the third floor . Christine, the owner was also very helpful in suggesting restaurants, and things to do , and was very quick to respond to any questions .

− A very small issue, and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the apartment, but the en-suite bathroom was extremely narrow .
