Un excellent hôtel à tous points de vue pour venir découvrir le CHETTINAD et se reposer dans un cadre accueillant et lux
10.0Nous avons aimé le professionnalisme et l’amabilité du gérant et du personnel. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement. L’’hôtel et les chambres sont très joliment décorés dans le pur style Chettiard et d’une extrême propreté. La cuisine est excellente. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à nous détendre dans le beau jardin, très soigné, et bien documenté en botanique. Nous avons reçu des informations utiles pour visiter les temples et vilas du CHETTINAD. Des chauffeurs compétents ont été mis à notre disposition pour nos déplacements et nos visites.Au cours de notre séjour de 10 jours au Meena Cottage puis CHOLA Héritage, nous avons tissé des liens amicaux avec le gérant et sa famille, le personnel et les clients de l’hôtel avec lesquels nous avons eu des conversations culturelles très intéressantes. Une adresse que nous recommandons . Nous reviendrons.

10.0Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette jolie maison avec sa vaste chambre lumineuse, sa salle de bain bien équipée et sa terrasse privée pour se détendre, D’une extrême propreté, ce cottage bénéficie de tous les services professionnels et attentionnés du gérant et du personnel du Chola Héritage, son excellente cuisine et son beau jardin botanique très bien entretenu. Il est bien situé pour découvrir le CHETTINAD. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la qualité des chauffeurs mis à notre dispositions pour découvrir les temples et vilas Chettiard. Nous y avons séjourné une dizaine de jours. Nous le recommandons vivement. Nous y reviendrons.

8.0We stayed at Meena Mahal Cottage, Karaikudi for two days. It is an outhouse property of Chola Heritage and shares the same reception and Google location. There is no separate website for Meena Mahal, but it has a separate Booking.com listing. The room was excellent – very spacious, clean bathroom, neat and cozy bed, and a pleasant balcony. Overall, the stay was comfortable and well maintained. In terms of room quality and cleanliness, everything was perfect.
− However, we had an unpleasant experience regarding breakfast. Since Meena Mahal and Chola Heritage share the same reception, we assumed the free breakfast mentioned for Chola Heritage applied to our stay as well. We took three idlis and coffee for two people, believing it was complimentary. Later, we were charged ₹800, with the explanation that free breakfast is only for guests staying at Chola Heritage. This distinction was not informed to us in advance, which made us feel misled. Clear communication at check-in would have avoided this confusion. Overall, Meena Mahal Cottage is a very good place to stay in terms of room comfort and cleanliness, but better transparency about inclusions like breakfast is essential for a smooth guest experience
