What a beautiful spot. Everything we needed was supplied and our hosts even had a fires and heaters going for us on arrival. The views are spectacular.

Idyllic old farm house in the mountains!

It is a beautiful old farmhouse! Covered in Ivy on the outside that turned pink with fall. There is a huge dinning table that I can just imagine families sitting around and talking about their day. The fireplace warms the big house up and the bay windows through the house is just an inviting spot to sit and read. The gardens are beautiful and the pond down in the valley is a must visit. Oliver was a fantastic host.

− Being an old farm house and the cold winters the challenge is always to keep everything working. The warm water in the big bathroom takes a good few minutes to warm up, but Oliver warned us and we just used the smaller bathroom as there the warm water was instant.

Still one of the most comfortable and best environments we've been to. Absolutely stunning! The host and property are far above average. This is without question going to become one of our regular destinations. Only problem is it's a little far from home.

Glengyle Guest Farm is a self catering establishment, tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided on arrival however all other food and drink requirements need to be purchased prior to arrival as there are no nearby shopping or restaurant facilities - the closest town, Barkly East is approximately an hour's drive from the farm on gravel roads.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
