Great stay, easy self check-in, bottle of home-made apple juice was a nice touch. Very pleasant location in a quiet part of the countryside, ideal for stopping on the way to/from the tunnel/ferry - about 45 minutes from the tunnel. The room felt very private and the kitchenette was well-equipped. Out of 6 stays at a similar budget across Europe in the last 2 weeks, this was a favourite accommodation.

Julia was so helpful throughout and breakfast supplies made our trip even better. Very convenient for Chapel Down vineyard and Julia even gave us a lift!

− It's close to the road but traffic settles down after dark so not really an issue

Perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway

Had a lovely night in this super studio with great facilities and a very comfortable bed. Small bathroom had a fantasic shower and good selection of towels. There was no oven, but microwave, toaster and plenty of crockery. We had a lovely breakfast provided of bread, butter and homemade marmalade with fresh milk and their own apple juice. We only stayed for one night as visiting a local vineyard, but really it would make a lovely holiday destination too. The hosts were friendly and we were able to use the garden if we wished too. A lovely peaceful place to stay.
