Enjoyed our week in Lincolnshire, but we were disappointed in the accommodation.

Good location. Easy to access. Close to Lincolnshire Wolds, Louth and beaches. Good Wi-Fi.

− Shower was a nightmare as the water didn’t drain away for 5 hours after being used on Wednesday. Cottage was too cluttered - no need for additional dining chairs. I moved one from the kitchen into the corner of the bedroom, out of the way. Also put the vacuum cleaner and clothes horse away as they had been left cluttering up the kitchen. Far too much old crockery and glasses. No need for 4 frying pans! However, matching cutlery would have been nice and wineglasses that weren’t chipped! Several dog messes in the garden from previous visitors (which I cleaned up)

The location was very tranquil.. Weather was very hot, and a fan was provided to help with the heat.

− Overall, there was nothing we did not like. The bed was a little soft for us and a few cobwebs about. But we appreciate this type of cottage property can be prone to this.

Lovely comfortable quiet cottage

Remote quiet location on Louth Canal about 6 miles out of Louth. Spacious and very comfortable well-appointed cottage. Was a bit concerned out it being a pet-friendly cottage but no pet smell or pet hair so pleased with that. Secluded garden area with seating, although we did not have much opportunity to use it. On-site parking for one car.

− Upstairs en-suite bathroom just had bath, which was fine, but nothing to hold when getting in and out of the bath. Could do with a hand rail somewhere. Downstairs bathroom had wet-room shower but required mopping the whole floor after showering to save paddling water out into kitchen. Very disappointed with state of crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans left by previous occupants, all of which had to be re-washed before we could use them. Could do with dishwasher for people who do not know how to wash up by hand!

Location was idyllic. The cottage is peaceful and very roomy for two. Dog walks are on the doorstep and the wild life is wonderful.

The peace and quiet was perfect for my needs, the host very welcoming and the cottage was indeed cosy and had everything I needed for my stay. I especially loved the incredibly comfy bed and was very grateful for the easily adjustable heating that kept me nice and warm while the weather outside was dreadful!

− The only reason I slightly down-graded the facilities was for the absence of a dishwasher, but for just a three night stay that wasn't a major drawback.
