Genieten op het water, met enkele kanttekeningen
7.0Wat een bijzondere ervaring was ons verblijf op deze houseboat. De combinatie van rust en vrijheid op het water maakte het echt uniek. Het wakker worden met uitzicht over het water, voorbijvliegende watervogels en de keurige inrichting aan boord zorgden voor een vakantiegevoel. De tender (het losse motorbootje) is onmisbaar, omdat je anders niet bij deze houseboat kunt komen. Enerzijds echt heel bijzonder om de omgeving vanaf het water te ontdekken. Anderzijds is het zonder echte kennis van watersport en zonder enige vaarervaring toch wat spannend om in een kleine maar volle haven zelf het water op te gaan. De communicatie en gastvrijheid waren top. Je merkt aan alles dat er aandacht is voor gasten.
− Wij vonden het jammer dat het droogtoilet/scheidingstoilet een erg penetrante geur verspreidde in de houseboat. Dat deed echt afbreuk aan het comfort van het verblijf; om eerlijk te zijn was de geur op sommige momenten zo sterk dat het zelfs voor kokhalsneigingen zorgde. Daarnaast merkten we dat enkele vaste bewoners van de nabijgelegen mini-haven niet erg gesteld waren op bezoekers of nieuwsgierige blikken richting de haven. Dat werd helaas ook vrij duidelijk en niet bepaald vriendelijk kenbaar gemaakt. Dat gaf soms een wat ongemakkelijk gevoel, terwijl je juist komt voor het ontdekken van een nieuwe omgeving in combinatie met ontspanning en gastvrijheid.
