8.0Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, and very quiet for our family stay. The shower facility and some electrical are not working, but totally understandable due to the typhoon damage. For the cost, this place was very good.
Nice quiet homestay with tasty food
8.0We had a nice welcoming stay at Frix during our bird watching visit to Mt Polis, Banaue and the rice terraces. We visited a few weeks after the typhoon and the community was very devastated by the impacts, as such Frix did not have power however they had a generator running in the morning and evening with wifi, gave us hot water to bathe and for coffee, an emergency light, extra blanket, and still served us a nice dinner one night which was better than the more expensive dinner we got in town! The family really did all they could to make our stay pleasant, we would stay here again and found the location ideal for accessing good bird watching areas. Also the parking was secure off the road which was a big plus and it was very quiet at night to sleep. Thank you Frix!
− Only real downside for us was it was chilly in the evenings in the room, would recommend layering up at night time. We managed fine without continuous power as we were out most of the day time, and hopefully typhoon cleanup will restore power to the area soon.
