Fine if not worried about security

The host was responsive when contacted directly. I contacted him about a broken toilet seat and he corrected this the same day and I contacted him when I hadn't received the check in instructions by 6pm the day I was due to check in. He sent the check in details by 7pm and had explained the delay at this time. The room was well equipped with crockery, iron and ironing board, microwave and fridge. Free parking although this is through an online permit so there's no information as to whether your car has been registered on the permit.

− I was asked at 9am what time I would be checking in and I replied 6pm. I was informed that this was fine but at 6pm I had not received any information and had not heard anything further until I contacted the host. The place didn't feel secure with both front and back doors being left unlocked and wide open most of the time, with only a small bedroom door lock for security. Given the area this accommodation was in this didn't particularly feel safe. On one occasion the back door had been locked someone claiming to be a cleaner knocked the my bedroom window at 7.30pm to ask to be let in. They started they did not have a key and needed access to put some laundry away. This felt very unsafe, as she was unable to provide proof of needing access but the same person returned the following day and was inside the property putting laundry away when the back door had been left open. The room I stayed in was on the ground floor. A cleaner/housekeeper arrived at 10/11pm at night and turned lights on right outside the window to bring laundry in from earlier in the day. The rooms are all laminate flooring so all movement in the room upstairs was heard all throughout the night and could frequently be quite loud.

The room was ok comfy enough

− The smell of weed constantly as soon as walked in then whole evening constantly smelling it from neighbouring rooms within the building was so strong gave me headache and felt sick. Also Doors slamming with people in and out

Very good communication from host

The host was quick to reply to the whatapp messages. Restricted parking needing permits so messaged and replied quickly. Very good communication. All information provided before arrival . Well done.
