Great base for a short break

Very clean, accessible property. Had all we needed for a stay where we just needed a bed for the night. Beds were comfy. Nice clean, fresh bedding and towels. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms fully functional and good showers.

− Nothing major really. We couldn't find one tv remote, but we used the other. And there were a few scrapes and dints in the walls that we didn't cause, but this didn't in anyway affect the holiday but made me a bit nervous given the large deposit taken.

− Landlord don't want to return deposit, always tell stories about his accountant still not responding him. More than 1 month I try to return deposit and finally did it by PayPal. So be careful with this Landlord

Great space, house was clean and good location

Stay away fraudulently take deposits and don't give them back!

What a complete joke, booked this place for a family funeral just wanted somewhere quiet for a couple of days to just chill.

− Took £400 security deposit contacted booking.com as this was not stated on the listing, got nothing back so went to the property. When we got there the keys were not where they said they would be so had to wait for someone to bring them, when we got inside the television was smashed contacted them again they knew about it and did not inform me, the internet did not work so the other television in the house did not work as it was only a smart tv with nothing else, what was I supposed to do whilst there. Once we left we're told we were told we were 5 star guests and we would get our £400 back! Over a month later still waiting, booking.com have tried to contact them and they are not getting back to them and they have told me that they have fraudulently taken my money as it's not on the listing so are not allowed to ask for this, this could have been prevented if booking.com had answered my initial query, I have been told that they have one more week and then booking.com will return my money, but this has now put me off using them in the future.

The property was very spacious and clean and was exactly as described. The bathrooms and kitchen were very modern as well as clean and tidy.

− There were 3 very large tv's but one was smashed, another didn't work at all and the internet was so sporadic, we couldn't stream anything on the one working tv. There was a lot of damage to walls so we took photos of everything to ensure we didn't get charged for any of these. When we pulled one of the beds away from the wall to allow access from both sides, it was clear this area had never been cleaned before. There were no kitchen towels or tea towels in the kitchen either. When I raised these with the host, he made the right noises but did nothing about it. On the day I move out, my deposit of £400 was taken out (even though it should have been held on account) meaning I was charged by my credit card company and had to wait for the refund. I also wanted to extend for another night and the host took me from the BDC platform for me to pay direct (so they didn't have to pay the BDC commission). When I asked to cancel the extra night, the host refused to give me a refund! Over all, my experience of dealing with the host was not a very pleasant one and I feel very let down by their apparent lack of concern to fix things.
