Perfect apartment for city stay♡

Location was convenient but the unit is on the 3rd floor meaning you have to walk up 2 flights of stairs. Host was contactable throughout the stay. Size was decent.

− We stayed at the apartment for 7 nights, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. First, the noise levels were extreme. In the morning at 5:30am, there was glass crushing for recycling that lasts at least half an hour, followed by loud noise from loading and unloading steel beer containers on a truck right outside the bar directly downstairs starting from 7:30am (see photo with worker loading and unloading beer containers). My daughter was studying for her A levels and could not get a good night’s sleep – even with bedroom windows closed. This should be clearly stated in the property description. Second, the hygiene was unacceptable. I had to spend the whole morning cleaning all the pots, pans, and utensils myself because they were unusable, there were dried food stains and scraps on them. I also found a pot with an insect inside (see photo), and there was a thick layer of dust on the fan (see photo). These issues should have been sorted before check-in – not just offered to be fixed midway through our stay. The host did offer to send a cleaner, but we didn’t want to be disturbed as my daughter needed peace to revise. Given such unacceptable living conditions, we tried to find alternative accommodation but couldn’t due to the busy half-term bookings. We paid for a clean, quiet stay and received neither. Absorbing the cleaning fees would have been the least the host could do to make things right, as a small gesture. Note to future guests: Avoid this apartment if you need sleep or basic cleanliness.

Great location close to facilities. The apartment had lots of room with all the facilities you would expect. Although there were 3 flights of stairs to the apartment (as explained in listing) they were easier to climb than I had expected and fine for me (64 yo male). Would definitely stay again.

La posizione della struttura è ottima perché si trova sulla strada principale pedonale. A pochi passi si trovano Tesco supermarket, palestra e fermata autobus L’appartamento è dotto di lavatrice, stendino, Smart TV, asciugacapelli. Il grande punto a favore della casa è la fantastica disponibilità dei proprietari che sono sempre pronti e disponibili per ogni chiarimento o richiesta.

An older apartment (common in Cheltenham) with lots of character. Great location with everything right on one’s door step. With it being so close to the high street, I had expected it to be noisy at night but it wasn’t. Lovely hosts. I had the pleasure of meeting them both. Very attentive and only a phone call away.

− The only minor issue for me was the soft mattress but that is just because I am used to sleeping on a very hard mattress at home.

Ok for the price. Great location.

Spacious, bright, great location, great shower

− Mattress is extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing. Flat smells awful (fishy/sewer) and the owners clearly know this and there are about 5 scent jars in the flat - but 3 of them are empty. I had to move the two full ones from the living room area to the bedroom in order to be able to sleep. If you have sensory sensitivities, particularly to bad smells or strong scents (to mask the smells) do not stay here.
