The house and facilities, namely the swim spa and spa, were absolutely awesome! We did not want to leave. I had the main bedroom, upstairs and it was the best room, with a tv, ensuite and enormous walk in wardrobe. My friends were downstairs, the couple loved their DBL bed room but, our other friend was less than impressed with the bunk beds. Apparently the DBL bottom bunk was comfortable, until she tried to turn over. Now, keep in mind my friend is all of 54kg and 5ft 4inchs tall but apparently there was no room to move. She then tried the top bunk, which again was comfortable and she could turn over but, she said it was so close to the ceiling and covered with cobwebs and dust, which was our biggest issue. The place was filthy, covered in dust from top to bottom, which was a real problem for my friend and I with asthma. But now, it is spotless, our other friend, who didn't sleep well, dusted the whole place, from top to bottom. She is now thinking of starting a business where she can holiday in a house, for free rent for spring cleaning the whole place. The only things that weren't done, were the washing and drying and a couple of dishes in the dish washer. We are hoping that they can be overlooked because of the spotless house!?! We would like to thank the hosts so much for the use of their awesome house and please let them know that if they ever sell, please give me first preference. They don't even have to put it on the market or go thru an agent! I would pay cash, within the week. Lastly but definitely not least, the position, it was perfect for why we were there, which wAs for The Black Sorrows at the Archie's creek hotel. It was so close to the wonderful kilcunda hotel and the new little shops next door and the Wonthagi is just down the road and dint we have fun there at an awesome bazaar, vrun by the nicest people in the world and the op shop, which is another story again!

The house was large enough for several of us to stay together but to have plenty of space. The bedrooms were a good size. There was a wood fired heater which was lovely. It was in a great position, a short walk to the pub, cafe and walking trail.

− The spa was not clean, there was an empty bottle on the bottom of it which you could hardly even see as it was so cloudy. It was supposed to be heated but was freezing cold, not that we could have used it anyway as it was do dirty. A big part of why we booked this house was we were looking forward to using the spa so very disappointed.
