We loved the piece and quite and enjoyed a walk round the walled garden.

I slight delay but soon sorted

The hot water for showers needed to be on earlier.

The cottage, garden and location. Overall, good, but see below.

One of the alarms needs a battery, and so annoyingly beeped all night. I couldn't pinpoint which one. We couldn't use the TV because the volume was set v high, and the batteries in the remote needed changing, which meant it didn't work. I couldn't find any spare batteries. The WiFi is a bit slow, so the TV was anyway buffering all the time. Water pressure is low. Some shower gel would be useful. The lamps in the main bedroom didn't seem to work, so we moved one in from the living room.

The postcode and directions were all spot on. We arrived late but had no difficulty in finding the location and getting. The place had quite a nostalgic fairytale feel, with traditional decor and furniture. In general the cottage had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. The location is not too far to explore the lake district. The highlight of the cottage was no doubt the gardens, absolutely lovely to take a stroll in first thing in the morning. Thank you for the stay and would love to visit again.

A small point but a microwave would be useful.

Such a lovely quirky place, Victoria came and met us and showed us where to park as we had a trailer with us, she was extremely helpful, the cottage as a delight, very clean and tea, coffee, milk, butter etc all left out for us. The attached wall garden which you are free to wander round was stunning, we loved walking round it and seeing all the lovely plants etc. There is plenty of private car parking and the cottage is very private, just a really lovely place to stay, hope to come back again in the future, thank you

Absolutely nothing to dislike about this property

An absolutely magical setting. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Conveniently close to Lancaster city; however you feel far from city life when in the cottage, which is ideal. The host was lovely and always quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
