Disappointed and unloved
2.0the location of the property is good, a nice walk down the prom to New Brighton was good. the restaurants there are good as I had to use them all the time.
− On arrival the kitchen and the whole ground floor was ant infested, we couldn't put any food in the kitchen in fear of the ants getting at it and therefore had to spend more money eating out. The living room had ants as well, so we really didn't get chance of using the house and felt the need to spend all day out until it was time for bed. I did contact the hosts who said they would try and get it sorted but by the time we were leaving nothing had been done. The host offered me a part refund as well but after 4 weeks have still not received anything. If we could have used the kitchen, we couldn't use the freezer as it was ram packed with frozen ice. The place might have been nice once but unloved now, you will find water pooling in the bathroom when you use the sink etc. Have added pictures so you can see. Even though we had a good time in New Brighton the place was not a home from home. We will find somewhere else next time we visit.

Scam - could not access and host not contactable.
1.0Lockbox was open when we arrived, no keys in it and could not access the accommodation. The host did not answer calls or messages and still hasn’t contacted back. I am aware of others who have had this same issue recently. Terrible and a scam.

OK but needs a freshen up.
5.0Perfect location for our needs and the house was a good size.
− House needs fresh decoration, as the pictures on Booking.com must be old as there were facilities in the pictures that were no longer there. Parking was difficult at the time we arrived.

9.0The size was great, kids had their own double beds and loved it.
− Could do with a handy-person to fix a few bits but it didn’t spoil our visit.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
