Better than expected
10.0Judging by the pictures I thought this place was in a somewhat remote area with nothing around, but I was wrong. - It's near many restaurants, eateries, and a few supermarkets. - The area felt very safe and modern as some nice complexes are nearby. - The apartment was clean and included the listed amenities (i.e., washer, air conditioner, hot/cold water shower, etc.).
− Just a recommendation - I would include a bike at the apartment (I wouldn't mind paying a rental fee to use it) because getting around the city generally is difficult if you don't have a car.
Perfect place for a couple in Cayenne
8.0Very friendly hosts, very willing to help with any questions I had. Very clean, comfortable accommodation, hot and cold water. There were some emergency food supplies which was a plus! The location is especially perfect for those wishing to visit the university, which is in walking distance.
− Just a suggestion for the future to make a very nice place even better. It would be amazing if there was a bike or two available for hire. Cayenne is very spread out, so walking anywhere may take quite long and taxis are extremely expensive (like almost everything in French Guayana). Many of the locals seem to get around on bikes and that is the missing piece to make this place perfect.
