This is an honest review. We booked for 7 nights and in the end stayed for 3 nights. Lets start with the positives. The property is huge. There is a big living room, a seperate kitchen, bedroom and even two bathrooms. The balcony is massive and from the balcony you have a nice view over the bananaplantation and Atlantic Ocean. Parking was easy as you get a dedicated parking spot. Another positive is the owner of the property. Marcos was friendly and willing to help out with our suggestions.

− Like I said, I have to be honest. The moment we stepped into the property it didn't feel comfortable. The place had a musty smell. Now if I would have been the owner, I would have bought a little welcoming gift, like a little bottle of Madeira wine, but there wasn't any. WiFi was working great in the living room, but when you got into the bedroom, the signal was lost. The bed was a nightmare. You can't move without waking up the other person laying next to you. Everything squeeks and bounces. But the real reason we left the property early were the ants walking around in the living room, especially over the carpet. We used some insect spray to try to get them out, but this didn't work. Then we had some other uninvited quests as well: Cockroaches. Huge ones. I contacted Booking about this matter and they helped us out. There should also be a swimming pool somewhere, but we did not get to see it. Be aware that you have to share this pool with all the other appartments. It is quite a big building.

Eine perfekte Unterkunt. Wir kommen gerne beim nächsten Mal wieder in diese Unterkunft.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die besonders gut liegt für die Wanderungen im Westen und auf der Hochebene. Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich nichts. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft.

Logement spacieux et confortable dans une résidence d’une vingtaine d’appartements (peu occupés lors de notre séjour). Emplacement calme. Parking sécurisé avec grande place de parc. Vue superbe depuis la grande terrasse.

− Lave-vaisselle hors service pendant tout le séjour (déjà signalé en janvier et février par d’autres hôtes). Literie qui manque de fermeté. À notre arrivée, chauffage au sol non activé. Nous avons donc pensé qu’il n’y en avait pas.

De locatie met uitzicht vanaf het terras op de oceaan is echt fantastisch, zeker met de zonsondergang. Daarnaast ontbreekt het in dit appartement echt nergens aan: een grote en volledig ingerichte keuken, een gezellige woonkamer en een fijne slaapkamer met goed bed. Verder is alles waar je maar aan kunt denken aanwezig: van spelletjes, boeken en kaarsjes, tot dekentjes en onderzetters. Dit maakt het heel huiselijk. Ook konden we al sochtends in het appartement, omdat het de nacht ervoor niet verhuurt was. Dit was erg prettig, aangezien we zo bij konden komen van onze reis.

− De koelkast en de vaatwasser waren kapot. Beetje onhandig, maar kan gebeuren.

Bauweise der Anlage. Auf Augenhöhe mit den Bananen, wenn nur nicht die Mücken wären. Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung von privat.

− Weitere Fliegengitter wären super. Nach meiner persönlichen Einschätzung ist die Matratze, zumindest für mich als Rücken- Patient, zu weich. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hat die Spülmaschine nicht funktioniert.
