Good holiday, but the accommodation needs some TLC
7.0The location was ideal for us. It is a five minute walk to the old town and vibrant George Street. The flat was light and spacious. The car park was convenient being opposite the flats. It costs £14 to park for 24 hours. We were fortunate that we spoke to a traffic warden on the day we arrived and he advised us to purchase a seven day parking permit from Hastings' Council for £50.00.
− *The shower bracket was broken and the shower had been rigged up using a hand held attachment which we had to hold above our head in order to shower. The bath could not be used as the water came out through an open outlet on the top of the tap unit. *There was inadequate crockery and cutlery. There were no cereal bowls and there was only one dessert spoon - one of us had to use a teaspoon to eat breakfast! *The communal entrance to the building was grubby and untidy - although the flyers and junk mail were eventually cleared away three days into our stay. *Only two bath towels, one hand towel and one tea towel were provided. The bath towels, though adequate, were of poor quality, as was the bedding. We expected better quality for the price we paid for this accommodation. *There were no drawers in which to store clothes. The wardrobe was being used as storage space and contained a large cardboard box and random items.

10.0Perfect local near old town and shops. Direct view of the sea. Car park opposite. Very clean & spacious. Would stay again for another short weekend in Hastings
