9.0The room is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you might need. The bathroom is next door, so very convenient. Shawkat has been really helpful and communicative throughout.
Very disappointing
3.0The location was good - not far from city centre. The room was spacious, although it was on the second floor, which I had not realised in advance.
− I would have given the place a better rating, but can't because of the problems I experienced. The bathroom was shared with another guest, who had obviously recently used the shower as there was soapy foam all round the shower tray. I mentioned this to the owner assuming he would clean it, but instead he said he would ask the guest to clean it. The next day it was still just as dirty. I decided to try to rinse it and use it anyway, but when I opened the shower door it crashed down on top of me, then a second partition did too. When I told the owner's wife she said she'd told the other guest to "clean, clean, clean" but the owners didn't seem to think they had any responsibility for ensuring I had a clean bathroom to use, without having to shower in another guest's dirt. Similarly, when I tried to hang some clothes up, the rail fell off. I went down the stairs holding the hand rail, but my hand encountered something sharp and cut my finger quite deeply.
