Lovely clean house well presented.
9.0Travelled to see my mum who was not well and my sister's family. The location was not far from them so it was ideal. The house was a town house, one bedroom and front room on the first floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the 2nd floor. The kitchen was on the ground floor with a conservatory on the back of the house. The house had its own parking space which was good as there was no where else to park. Just outside the front door was a squirrel feeding but and the owner provided squirrel food which was fun to put that out for them we did a couple of squirrels on our stay but we were really only there to sleep as we were out all day visiting family.
− On arrival at the bottom of the stairs is a notice to say no food and drink to be taken upstairs. Well the front room with the television is on the first floor and most people I know will sit and watch the tv with a cup of tea or coffee so to have a bit drink you had to sit downstairs in the kitchen with no tv or leave your drink downstairs and keep popping up and down the stairs to drink it. Also there is a check list by the front door and it does ask you to turn the boiler off when you leave but No instructions as how to do this. I searched for ages trying to find on/off switch for the boiler and eventually found it tucked in the very corner of the kitchen but no instructions how to use it I had to figure this out for myself.
We only stayed one night but overall very good.
8.0Very spacious well appointed property and ideal for visiting Wakefield and the surrounding area. Close to the city centre. Quiet neighbourhood. Comfy bed.
− Perhaps could do with spruce up and decorating. Tiles loose in bathroom floor. Beige carpets perhaps need cleaning / replacing.
