5.0The hikes next to the lodge
− Most expensive place I've stayed in Namibia and the worst one. Very overpriced for what you get. You can get the same service for a third of the price if not less in other places. We wanted to treat ourselves with a nicer place for the end of our trip, but it turned out to be very disappointing.. :/

Très bel environnement mais insonorisation des chambres à revoir
8.0Les chambres étaient confortables, même si les équipements et la décoration étaient un peu en-dessous de ce que l’on trouve habituellement dans les lodges de la collection Gondwana du même standing. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner, sous forme de buffet, étaient bons et variés. Le personnel était charmant et attentif. Les bâtiments sont entourés de nombreuses plantes très bien entretenues et qui sont pour la plupart identifiées par une petite pancarte. De quoi ravir les amoureux de botanique! L’environnement de l’hôtel est également très beau, n’hésitez pas à faire la promenade de 3,5km qui est proposée : très facile et beaux points de vue en chemin.
− Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées. Nous étions chambre 37, assez proche de la réception et nous entendions tous les bruits en provenance des bâtiments techniques, ainsi que ceux des autres clients de l’hôtel qui allaient de leur chambre à la réception (ou l’inverse) avec plus ou moins de discrétion. De surcroît, il s’agit d’un lodge avec une capacité d’accueil importante avec des départs et des arrivées aux horaires variés. Demander les chambres les plus éloignées pour les personnes au sommeil fragile.
