If I were to go back to Santorini’s I would definitely stay else where.

The spa was nice to chill in after a long day. The views were nice.

The spa is only suitable for one person at a time since the water overflows way too much. When we arrived the bed wasn’t even made. The sheet for the mattress wasn’t made, aswell as no extra blankets whatsoever. No towels aswell. We messaged the host asking where we could find some in the apartment and his response was “sorry about that”. No help with where we could find anything. No cleaners aswell, we had to get extra bags from grocery stores to use them as our waste bins. Definitely not worth wasting your money over.

Oversold hostel quality accomodation

2.0

Very little. This property is fundamentally oversold. This is hostel quality accomodation sold as a 'suite'. The view in the picture shows what is in reality a tiny jacuzzi and it is not available in a standard room. The standard room is without any natural light, a real porblem if there is a power cut (not unknown in Santorini) the toilet is in the shower. You couldn't really spend any quality time in this room apart from sleeping. It's not easy to find up a long series of steps with no signage. Google maps will get you there but it would be nigh impossible in the dark. Ideally you will be using backpacks. Standard luggage will be a problem. It would be reasonable value for say 40 euros a night if you are backpacking but this is not by any means quality accommodation. Once you get past the giant pile of rubble next door the sights and facilities on Pyrgos hill are great so that is a positive.

The room wasn't very clean, (cigarette ash on the bed , dead bugs on the windowsill) the towels were very small and very thin. Yes there is a coffee machine TV (who goes on holiday to watch TV?) and safe but you are basically in a dark hole in the side of a cliff. Communication with the landlord was entirely on his terms, asked several times about infomation to get us from the ferry port to the accommodation, no reply. Then a standard note telling you the code for the keybox and an indignant rant after we told him we spent 5 minutes in the property and were leaving due to all issues set out here.

Wonderful place with great view

10.0

We had a wonderful stay in the authentic village of Pyrgos. The place was beautifully designed with a lot of charm, and we absolutely loved the aesthetics and atmosphere. Since it was off-season, the price was exceptionally good, making it even more enjoyable. Although our host missed our initial arrival, he was very communicative and helpful afterward, especially when it came to guiding us to the location. Highly recommended!
