A good choice for visiting Meteora
9.0Kaliraki is a small quiet(er) town close to Meteora so a good place to stay to see the monasteries. Several good restaurants in short walking distance. Great to have the use of a whole house, with plenty of space and a garden to sit in. Beds are comfortable and large.
− Minor quibble - the bathroom is small and at the opposite end of the house to the bedroom. But that’s the way it’s built.
Comfortable, convenient and quiet
9.0An entire house to ourselves! Very convenient with an easy, wide street to park in. The owner met us, was very friendly, showing us around the house. He even pulled out a clothes drying rack for us. The house is just as it looks in the photos - comfortable, not flash. It is very convenient to the village's restaurants and shops, yet was quiet. We hit the hiking trails and visited two monasteries without using our car. We drove to the others. Magic.
