Unable to gain access and no refund issued even though I was not at fault.
1.0I was unable to gain access.
− I could not get in after knocking the door and calling the number. I had a cancelled flight and booked and paid last minute. I was stood in torrential rain in the late evening and had to find another hotel to stay in. I contacted the host the next morning to ask for a refund as I could not get a response to check in. I was told to contact booking.com which I did. The response I received was that I should have realised the issue during check in. Absolutely disappointed with the whole experience. The photo shows you the weather and street conditions while I was stood in my own in the rain. This is not my photo but one that was taken by another holidaymaker just to show what situation I was left in.
