7.0Peaceful area, slept well
− For me 'Cleanliness is close to Godliness', if it's not clean, then I'm uncomfortable. The fridge and microwave were particularly unclean and the cutlery and plates needed washing before use. The bathroom sink was not clean around the base of taps and the overflow hole was black, the sink smelt too as did the kitchen sink. The sofa also really smelt of wet dog so maybe an odoriser of some sort would help. I love dogs but don't want to smell them constantly. The whole place needs a good clean that's all, otherwise a great place to stay.
Nice place but...
4.0The annex itself is just what we needed, we visit family in Shrewsbury so need a place to stay several times a year, and recently inherited a dog so this was ideal. The space has everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable and nice bathroom and kitchen.
− As other reviewers have noted the annex is not clean. Carpets etc. seem fine and nice clean sheets but loads of cobwebs and spiders as if it hasn't been properly cleaned in months. Thick dust and a false nail behind the bed, bathroom bin needed emptying, no handwash in bathroom. Disappointing as the accommodation itself is nice but with so many similar offers locally we wouldn't stay here again.

4.0Perfect location. The property was 'snug' Lovely layout and well furnished.
− Not convinced the sheets were clean. Hairs in the bed 😣 Bathroom floor, window sills, behind bed really dirty. Not cleaned properly for some time.
