8.0Wonderful small hotel dating back to the early days of tourism in Switzerland. Located a little above the lake of Geneva, the hotel offers splendid views. The lake is at approx. 5 min walk. Absolute highlight was the management and staff who made us feel great at any time.
− Due to the age of the building rooms are not totally noise free, but that is to be expected in a historic hotel. We slept very well nonetheless. I would less recommend this hotel for families with kids due to the lack of noise insulation
Veel teveel geld voor een klein en slecht onderhouden kamer/hotel
3.0Het uitzicht vanuit de gemeenschappelijke tuin en het historische aangezicht van het hotel.
− Voor meer dan 400 euro per nacht mag je (zelfs gedurende een druk bezocht evenement in Montreux) meer verwachten. We dachten dat ze ons per abuis de kleinste kamer hadden gegeven, maar de ‘normale’ tweepersoonskamer is dus gewoon erg klein. Na ons beklag te hebben gedaan, wilde de hoteleigenaar ons een andere kamer aanbieden; heel vriendelijk maar we wilden geen geste, we wilden waar we voor hadden betaald en als dat bij Swiss Historic Hotel Masson een kleine kamer met achterstallig onderhoud is, dan is dat het. De parketvloer is kapot, stekkerdoosje los, slappe dunne kussens, gordijnen hier en daar een gat, verf bladdert, vochtvlek op nachtkastje, kozijn in ontbijttafel rot. De kamer is niet iedere dag schoongemaakt. Toen we na vier dagen bij het uitchecken nogmaals onze ervaring deelden, kregen we als reactie dat het moeilijk is om aan al die hoge verwachtingen te voldoen. Terwijl wij juist niet kunnen bevatten dat je voor ruim 400 euro per nacht niet een voldoende basisonderhoud en comfort mag verwachten. Zelfs in Zwitserland.

das älteste Hotel in Montreux sollte man bald renovieren und die Matratzen ersetzten

− die alten Matratzen und Kissen soll man ersetzten der Duft im Hotel ist nicht angenehm auf die Plastikblumen sollte man verzichten

9.0評価の高いレストランで夕食も朝食もいただいたが、素晴らしいレベル。眺めは最高！テラスもお庭も良い！著名人もきっとリラックスしていたであろう歴史的な建造物でのんびり過ごせて良かったです！

6.0The staff were very kind, friendly!
− The room I was given was extremely small, stuffy, and uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning, and the only cooling option was an old very dirty fan placed on a table, which simply blew warm air around the room. The room itself was also not properly cleaned, and the pillow was extremely poor quality and very uncomfortable. Despite the temperature being around 40°C, the hotel did not offer any kind of welcome drink, not even a glass of water. In such hot weather, providing drinking water should be the absolute minimum expected from a hotel.
A deposit may be required at the property.
