1.0− My booking was cancelled the evening before of the expected arrival, so we had to book another property at a very expensive cost. The guest did not reply to my request of reimbursement even if I chased them several times.
Enjoyable and worth the money.
9.0Amazing location. An entire apartment with a terrace that has a lake view. About 100m away from the beach. Clean, comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. More than enough towels. Easy to reach on foot from the train station. Stable internet connection.
− No trash bags. The door to the apartment should have a keyhole from the inside so that it could be closed with a key from the inside. It has a lock that you simply turn and that is NOT ENOUGH. It is not a safe way to lock. If someone else has a key, they can easily open the door from the outside and you have no way of blocking this. Also the door must have a peephole. Late in the evening someone knocked on our door and we had no way of checking who it was.

− Wir haben eine andere Wohnung bekommen als wir gebucht hatten. Diese war nicht sauber und entsprach in kleinster Weise der Beschreibung und der Abbildung bei booking.com. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war dürftig. Aufgrund der vorgefundenen Verhältnisse mussten wir kurzfristig umbuchen.
Not somewhere I would want to stay again
4.0Location near the lake (but traffic noise).
− We had difficulty opening the door with the key and when we contacted the host and left a voicemail and sent an email about it we received no response. There was a sheet on the sofa bed that hadn’t been changed. Towels didn’t seem fresh. There were flies in the property. When we went down to where the washing machine was in the basement there was poison left out in several locations for rodents.
Couldn't have chosen better for our short break to Montreux.
9.0Excellent apartment, well appointed. But the main thing was the location - superb - a stone's throw from the lake, right opposite a small shop, one block from supermarkets, on the main bus route in and out of Montreux.
− Only 2 small issues (not complaints): the bedroom lamp didn't work, and the shower was not really useable (once the water came out the head would move a point to the wall or fall off - had to be held in hand).
