Clean, affordable, and a really convenient location with a very nice host

Location was superb. The host was attentive and helpful when we needed to change dates or request supplies. He greeted us with a lovely freshly made pound cake which was really sweet. Great to have plastic wrap in the kitchen! Also loved the washing machine for laundry.

− It was pretty spare. It was supposed to have a microwave and coffee maker and toiletries, but did not. Our host then provided a manual espresso maker and some shampoo and body wash. No welcoming coffee to use in the machine, no kitchen towels, no standard wine glasses. No laundry rack to dry clothes inside. Parking was really challenging on the street. WiFi was too slow to stream movies.

good memory in Pompeii

The location is really good. Easy to get to Pompeii and train station. We drove, the host helped us park on the street right next to the apartment. He is very nice and his wife even baked a piece of cake for us. There is a lift in the building and the apartment is spacious. The balcony is nice for a cup of tea outside with sunshine and fresh air. We also appreciate the washing machine and being able to dry our clothes outside the balcony. The host also allowed us to stay a couple hours beyond the checkout time. It was extremely helpful.

− The only problem was the shower water temperature. However, the host said no guests ever let him know about this issue. He would hopefully repair this problem soon. If there wasn’t the shower issue, we would give this apartment a higher rate. A minor issue was only one of the stove-top burners worked. But, if you don’t cook, no problem at all. We would definitely stay there again with the issues resolved in the future.
