Quiet location. The bed was good but no sheets. Wifi ok. Parking ok. The contact with the host was ok. You can sit outside nicely. Nice neighbors.

− The view was a little disappointing. Due to bad maintenance the drainage of shower water stopped and filled the entire floor so going to the toilet became a wet feet experience. I had to mention this twice before action was taken. The kitchen cupboards are poor and not clean.

Absolutely loved this house by the beautiful lake. It’s incredibly peaceful to sit outside at night, watching the stars reflect over the water—such a serene experience. The location is amazing—you can actually walk to the Abu Simbel temple from here! The host thoughtfully provides water, tea, coffee, and some snacks. Staying here, you’re truly immersed in the local community, which gives you an authentic feel for the town. The host is very helpful providing your car service to travel back to Aswan if you choose to travel by car/taxi. If I ever come back to Abu Simbel, I would like to stay here again.

− I wish it has Wi-Fi, but it doesn't affect my travels thanks to data I have on my phone.

The place is great if you want to visit temple early in the morning, location is 3 minutes drive from the site. Owner is nice, responsif and helpfull. He is really thinking od what you may need: fresh water, soft drinks, a welcome cookie, slippers if bathroom floor is vet and even a hair drier :)

I was happy staying here for 2 days. The house was clean and quiet, and the dishes in the kitchen were clean and well-equipped with a gas stove. And the hosts, Hassan and Ahmet, were kind and friendly. Whenever I had questions or needed help, I got answers right away. They picked me up at the bus terminal, gave me a ride to the terminal when I left, and helped me buy a bus ticket to Aswan. He even helped me get some beer. (There are no stores that sell alcohol in Abu Simbel. Some large hotel bars sell alcohol, but it is quite expensive.) It's not like a hotel and it is located in a local area. That's why I liked the house more.
