We had an amazing time at the lodge! The guides were all really friendly, helpful, and always around if we needed anything. They made sure we were well taken care of and really went out of their way to show us as much as possible. We saw so much wildlife – anteaters, monkeys, sloths, piranhas, tarantulas, alligators, caimans, and even anacondas! It was such a cool experience to be surrounded by nature like that. But overall, it was a great experience and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the jungle!

− The only thing that was a bit tricky was that we didn’t know the lodge only accepts cash. We hadn’t brought any with us, so we had to go back to Iquitos to find an ATM, which wasn’t easy and had high fees. It would’ve been good to know that in advance.

The tambo was extremely comfortable. I had plenty of room, a desk to do some work and two hammocks out the back with mosquito net protection to relax with the sounds of the jungle

The staff were very knowledgeable about the different species of animals. I really enjoyed feeding the bully monkeys that came down to the boat we were on. A great experience thru the Rainforest during high season.

− The rooms would be great if they provided a lantern and a desk to do some writing at night. The WiFi was only available in the main room (3G). Other than that you have all the amenities needed for your stay out in the Jungle.

Going to the forest with Mario was amazing. I saw In nature everything I wanted to see: snakes, caymans, numerous birds and parrots, slots!! They are so cute! The jungle exploration was fantastic. The same warm was welcoming by community. This is the lodge I defined advice! I was in couple places in amazon and here you really feel like you become part of amazon. But didn’t come to some commercial hotel. I like them but definitely not good choose when you want to explore the jungle! Camungo lodge in Livertad is perfect choice. And the comfort of houses was great! They are newly builded! everything is nice and super clean!

This is one of the most amazing experiences I had. What you MUST know is that lodge is run by the indigenous community of Kukama!!! So coming to lodge you don’t feel like you just came to some business entity. But you are truly warmly welcomed by the whole community. And it is amazing. Because besides of the fantastic nature you see the local traditions. And in the amazon forest you are not guided just by the guide. But you are guided by indeginos people who grow up in this forest and are guarding it. It is absolutely amazing experience. You should definitely choose this lodge!!! Besides the houses are newly build and super comfortable. With private bathroom, shower. Food is super delicious. And service is all included. I can’t find more worlds of gratitude to Mario and his community for letting me be part of this life changing experience!

That was an amazing experiance staying at indigenous community. Clean and cozy villas, nice people were hosting us. They know so much about local nature and can share with you a lot.
