Lovely lodge
9.0I hadn’t realised initially that there are two separate lodges – we stayed in the Swan Lodge. (right on the photo) The interior is very similar to the photos of the Cygnet Lodge (near road) shared by other guests; the main differences seem to be that Swan Lodge is closer to the main house and doesn’t have a freezer. We were really impressed by how cleverly the lodge is laid out. It had everything we needed and felt spacious enough for two people and our two Border Collies. The kitchen, although compact, was well equipped, with a portable electric hob and microwave. It was also a big bonus that dogs stay free of charge, which we really appreciated.
− We stayed during the Football World Cup, which seemed to slow down the internet connection.
