8.0We had a very memorable stay and truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the hosts Sameer and his son Rishfan. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always tried to make our experience special. They helped us organize activities, provided snorkeling equipment, and made us feel safe and comfortable during our time on the island. The island itself is beautiful, and the ocean life was the highlight of our trip. We loved snorkeling, seeing colorful fish, exploring the nearby reefs, and experiencing the beauty of the Maldives. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was also possible to order dinner from the host if we wanted to enjoy a homemade meal. Getting to the beach was very convenient, and Sameer kindly provided us with bicycles with baskets, which made it easy and comfortable to carry our beach items. The personal attention and care from the host made our stay feel very special.
− There are a few things that could be improved. Unfortunately, there was a strong mothball smell throughout the building, including the corridors and the room. The smell was noticeable immediately upon arrival and stayed on our clothes and suitcase even after returning home. The bathroom fixtures also need some updates. During our stay, there was also quite a lot of construction on the island, which slightly affected the peaceful atmosphere.

9.0Einfach alles war super, von A bis Z. Der Eigentümer ist ein wahrer Menschenfreund, so dass mir mehr als einmal das Herz aufgegangen ist. Danke für jederzeit Unterstützung, gute Gespräche und natürlich auch die tollen Rosen für uns alle zum Frauentag.

Ein außergewöhnlich herzlicher Aufenthalt – ein echtes Zuhause auf Huraa
10.0Unser Aufenthalt im The Sunrise war rundum fantastisch und absolut empfehlenswert. Gastgeber Sameer ist eine außergewöhnlich herzliche Persönlichkeit, die wirklich alles dafür tut, dass sich seine Gäste wohlfühlen. Mit über 20 Jahren Erfahrung in einem nahegelegenen Resort im Bereich Food & Beverage bringt er unglaublich viel Know-how und Gastfreundschaft mit – und genau das merkt man vom ersten Moment an. Die Zimmer sind funktional, gemütlich und vor allem sehr sauber. Man sieht deutlich, dass Sameer viel Zeit, Liebe und auch Investitionen in die Unterkunft gesteckt hat. Besonders schön war für uns auch der persönliche Austausch: Wir hatten sehr interessante Gespräche über die maledivische Kultur, seinen Weg von einer festen Anstellung zum eigenen Unternehmen und die Herausforderungen und Chancen, die damit verbunden sind. Es ist beeindruckend zu sehen, wie er das Gästehaus gemeinsam mit seinem Sohn aufgebaut hat – die beiden scheinen sich hervorragend zu ergänzen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls ein echtes Highlight. Man kann zwischen einem englischen und einem lokalen maledivischen Frühstück wählen. Wir haben uns für das lokale Frühstück entschieden und waren begeistert: sehr lecker, liebevoll zubereitet und schön präsentiert, serviert in einem gemütlichen Frühstücksbereich. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben auch die vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten: Sameer gab uns tolle Tipps zu Restaurants und Aktivitäten auf der Insel, überraschte uns mit frischen Früchten vom Baum und stellte abends sofort Moskitoabwehr bereit, als die Mücken kamen. Man merkt einfach, dass ihm seine Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese großartige Erfahrung!
