Incredibly thoughtfully designed and appointed space. Basically everything you need for a long-term stay was there (other than your food). I appreciated the snacks, tea, coffee, extra travel toiletries under the sink, sleep masks and ear plugs, and unscented laundry detergent. Plenty of towels, and an in-unit washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully furnished, with lots of kitchenware and salt+pepper+spices. The space was really fun - nicely decorated and felt like staying at someone's house instead of a hotel or a cheaply furnished AirBnB. The building is old, so it has its own charm, but everything functioned perfectly despite that. I worked from here for a week, and the internet was great, the furniture was very comfortable, and the climate control worked really well. I was comfortable the entire time. I'd honestly love to live in this space as-is. Noise is definitely a little higher than a proper hotel, but it also felt more organic than a hotel and I loved that.

− All nitpicky details - I liked the space and am considering staying again soon. Parking is 1-2 "blocks" away and up a steep hill. Not a negative for me, but something people should be aware of. Despite blinds on the main windows there are big un-covered windows with streetlights that reach even the inner bedroom. They provide sleep masks if the light bothers you. You're in downtown Asheville, and sometimes that means some of Asheville's population might be wandering up and down the street making loud noises. I was woken up one night by someone yelling rap song lyrics up and down the alley and the occasional sirens from fire/police. But overall the noise wasn't bad for me. Yes, as others comment, the AC is louder than the one at your house. Just the sound of air blowing through exposed ducts. I found it more a nice white-noise than a problem.
