10.0The Location of the property is very convenient, just a 2 minute walk to the main road where one can catch a bus or Tuk Tuk to travel to Colombo city or Waterworld which is very near. The Greenery and homes nearby, is very comforting and brings you the feeling of being back in Nature. The property owned by Melani is very beautiful, with big rooms. The entire first floor is secluded and private with bathroom and balconies. The bedroom is comfortable and the air conditioning keeps the room nice and cool on a hot day. There was also good wifi available. Even though I spent only one day here, I visited this place often as a friend of mine was staying at the property for a few weeks. Melani is a very good Hostess and there is always a good Sri Lankan breakfast available. Puttu, Idy appams, hoppers along with good Sri Lankan tea or coffee. Also the Kitchen could be used by guests to whip up some interesting food whenever we were hungry. Melani was very helpful in giving tips where to travel and shop. Unfortunately I stayed only one night here and wished I had stayed longer.

10.0A superb host who really looked after us. We stopped here to see the perahera. Not only did they arrange us VIP seats, but they stayed with us the whole time. Enormous room, matched by the size of the breakfast. It's not far from Colombo, but we stayed for a different reason.
− No hot water for shower, bit we were offered another to use if we wanted.
