Lovely apartment in a great location with very comfortable beds.

The flat was light and bright, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners obviously love and care for it. The location was great with a parking space, a flat 15 minute walk into Whitby, and a view of the harbour. We were left tea and coffee and milk.

− Just one or two very minor issues: there were no oven gloves, which we found odd when there was an oven! One of the blinds had a broken string and didn't pull up properly. Otherwise it was great.

Very good location with parking overlooking the river with views of Abbey. 10 to 15 min walk into town. Two exceptional double bedrooms, large bathroom.

the decor and location

− apartment was tidy as a whole but some parts needed to be gone over with a finer brush

Whitby is a lovely old fishing town full of character and charm. Freshwater View is in a good location, 15 mins walk fro

The location is excellent; 15 minute walk into town, there is a nice seating area close to the apartment overlooking the river. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, the beds and bathrooms were very clean and the kitchen is well equipped and everything in the cupboards was clean.

− The floors and kitchen units could have done with a good clean, behind the doors and under furniture was particularly gritty and dusty. However this wasn’t significant enough to spoil the holiday. Just something to be aware of and improve.
