All in all a nice stay

The caravan was in a great position with great views and close to the main block and not to far from the beach, be sure to carry the site map with you if you go for a wander. It has everything you need to self cater great sized fridge freezer and large oven. TV has lots of channels and there's a dvd player. The site has some small roads leading into It but is a good base for visiting nearby places such as Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton also Exmouth. You can walk into Budleigh along the coast path if you like a hike only a couple of miles. The beach on the site is lovely , all sand and great for the children.

− The van could do with a deep clean, it was clean on the surface but really needs a little tlc, the entrance to the van is a bit dodgy not level so beware if you have any mobility problems. The site itself is huge so as I've said before you can easily get lost. Also prices in the facilities are very expensive we had a pint of beer and a soft drink which was close to £11. It was the only drinks we had there.

Food outlets were great especially Wetherspoons food..

− I feel there are too many children's activities which made it difficult to leave the camp. Our booking was 4 adults but there were 3 children in another caravan (Rest of family). In Wetherspoons my eldest Granddaughter wanted a hot chocolate fro the machine which was paid for (it was her 1st drink not a top up) My daughter asked a member of staff advising her that hot chocolate was empty. She was told that not everyone wants hot chocolate,but my Granddaughter did...the staff member said 1 person is NOT enough to fill it up. My daughter told me after we left Wetherspoons otherwise I would have asked to see a manager. 😡

Kids enjoyed it . Some of the park facilities need work as very tatty - mainly the indoor pool.

The location was lovely . Food available was fantastic

− No sheets , quilt covers or pillowcases provided and the mattress covers on 2 beds were discussing & one was full of stains. I thought that bedding was provided? And the beds would be made up. Not enough storage provided for clothes for 5 people. Otherwise the caravan was OK.

Lovely views

− The tv wasn't a smart tv so could only watch Freeview TV and alot of time the picture kept going due to to the signal. Also the tv remotes were quite poor and was very hard to change channels and turn up volume etc. There was also no balcony to sit out on and no bedside lamps in the main bedroom.

Really enjoyed our stay would definitely return

Site was great, everything you could need on site, food takeaways, bars, amusements, beach etc etc

− Parking at the center of the site was limited and the path down to the beach was very steep would be great if another ramp could be added to reduce the steepness
